Hi! I'm Nastia Yanson, an artist, cartoonist, and illustrator. On this planet since 9th of February, 2004. I am currently studying Comics at Moscow HSE Art and Design School (2022). I graduated from St. Petersburg Art School (2010-2020) and completed a course in comics at the "Mayak" School of Creative Industries (2018-2019).
My passion lies in creating comics and zines. I have self-published four comics available in comic and book shops across Russia, with more on the way. Additionally, I create short animations, illustrations, posters, and art objects. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm through workshops, including a series for children and teenagers on comic creation in collaboration with the independent children's book publisher "Samokat."
My approach can be compared to a meat grinder. I take raw material from my surroundings, history, and life, run it through me, and turn it into something new yet familiar—like meatballs. For each project, I tailor its unique visual language and technique to best support the idea.

I specialize in magazine covers, caricatures, short comics, album covers, posters, and art objects. I'm also open to collaborations with brands, shops, and businesses. Recently, I've been inspired by ancient cultures from around the world and dream of using this passion to create illustrations for articles, visual designs for museums, and more.
