What to do this weekend if you're a Mayan? How about going to watch an eclipse performance or a ball game, or maybe stop by the beauty parlor and get another tattoo? This is a series of multi-figure posters of Mayan favorite things to do in support of Children of the Maize, a comic book about the great Mesoamerican civilization.
The project was done as part of a brief at a HSE Art and Design school on my 2nd year.
The posters are all hand-cut from photographs of Mayan hieroglyphics.
