(in)somnia - printing series
"(in) somnia" is a series of printmaking works using monotype and drypoint. The title merges two states: insomnia and existence within the unconscious, in dreams.
At the core of the series is the state of drifting between sleep and reality. The traces of a sleepless night on the bed transform into landscapes, while the figures seem stuck between states—either asleep or tossing in restless dreams, lingering on the edge between escape and peace.
